Various calculator links

For statistics help,

1.   Go to http://wps.prenhall.com/esm_sullivan_statistics_1

2.   Click on the picture of the statistics book Statistics:  Informed Decisions Using Data

3.   In the “Jump to” pull-down window near the upper left of the screen, click on whatever topic (chapter) the MAT 120 student needs

4.   Click on “Technology Step-by-Step” for specific help associated with certain topics associated with chapters

        --or--  "Graphing Calculator Help" to use an index to find information if you know the name of the skill

5.   Choose whatever topic the student needs.  (Some chapters only have one or two technology skills.  Some have many topics.)

6.   NOTE:  We use the TI-83 calculator and Microsoft Excel for MAT 120.  We do not use Minitab any longer.

To enter data into the TI-83 calculator

For general calculator help (for generic TI-83 questions, for courses like MAT 122 that also do calculator stuff,  and for certain other models besides the TI-83),

1.   Go to  <http://www.prenhall.com/divisions/esm/app/calc_v2> 

2.   Select a model of calculator

3.   Choose whatever topic the student needs from the index.
