COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course covers the applications of integrated computer software. Emphasis is placed on the Microsoft Office 2000 suite and Microsoft Outlook.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon
completion of this course, the student will:
1. Understand the Microsoft Office
environment.
2. Organize related files using the "Binder" concept.
3. Create form letters with data from various sources.
4. Integrate information between programs.
5. Create and manage a shared workbook.
6. Utilize Microsoft Outlook to manage schedules, contact lists, journals,
task lists, and e-mail.
7. Integrate workbook data in a presentation.

LATE ASSIGNMENTS: Assignments are to be turned in on or before the due date. Late work will be accepted at the discretion of the instructor. Make-up tests will be given at the discretion of the instructor.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: The department policy will apply. The number of absences allowed is equal to twice the number of times the course meets per week.
NOTE: Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all the courses offered within the Information Systems Department in order to be counted toward graduation.
