APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMING CERTIFICATE
CERTIFICATE PROGRAM (APP6)
DESCRIPTION: Students will be able to code in two high-level languages found in the business environment. Students will be able to develop windows applications using object-based, visual tools. The Applications Programming Certificate will provide a foundation for an entry-level programmer to gain access to the ever expanding information processing field.
BEGINNING SEMESTER: Fall, Spring, Summer
CAMPUS: Beltline Campus
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS: Student must have a "B" in CPT 170 or a proficiency in using microcomputers.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
18 semester credit hours are required for this certificate.
PROGRAMS NOTES:
- This certificate is intended for students who possess a degree from another college, university or from Midlands Technical College.
- Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all of the courses offered within the Business and Information Systems Technology departments for the grade to count toward graduation. This includes courses with the following prefixes: ACC, BAF, BUS, CPT, CRP, IST, LEG, MGT, MKT and OST.
