EDE	Electronic Data Exchange (the transmission of FAFSA results to the school from the processor)
EFC	Expected Family Contribution as calculated by the federal need analysis formula
FAFSA	Free Application for Federal Student Aid
FAT	Financial Aid Transcript
FFELP	Federal Family Educational Loan Programs (Federal Stafford and PLUS Loans)
FSEOG	Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
FWS	Federal Work-Study
Hard Copy	Paper loan application (not electronic)
ISIR	Institutional Student Information Report (similar to Student Aid Report or SAR)
MPN	Master Promissory Note which must be signed by borrower
SAR	Student Aid Report (need analysis results from the FAFSA)
SUB	Subsidized Stafford Loan (interest does not accrue until after graduation or leaving school)
UNSUB	Unsubsidized Stafford Loan (interest accrues for the life of the loan)
SAP	Satisfactory Academic Progress
