Is Distance Learning For You?

My reason for taking this course in distance mode is:

a. high- I live too far from campus
b. moderate- family obligations
c. low - have limited time to spend on coursework

Having face-to-face interaction with an instructor is:

a. not important to me.
b. somewhat important to me.
c.  very important to me.

I would classify myself as someone who:

a. often gets things done on time
b. needs reminded of dead lines
c. puts things off until the last minute

When an instructor hands out directions for an assignment, I usually:

a. figure out the instructions myself.
b. try to follow the directions and ask for help if needed.
c. need the instructions explained to me.

Participating in classroom discussion is:

a. not helpful to me.
b. sometimes helpful to me.
c. very helpful to me.

I need to be constantly reminded of due dates and assignments:

a. rarely.
b. sometimes.

With my schedule, the amount of time I have to work on distance courses is:

a. more than for an on-campus course.
