Counseling Services is committed to providing educational, career, and personal development through quality and progressive services and programs.

Role and Scope Categories

These programs and services include:

Educational, Career, And Personal Counseling Services
Includes admissions, personal, probation and suspension counseling, change of major, Academic Fresh Start and Assistive Technology. Career counseling involves career exploration, assessment and access to various career databases and resources.

Undecided Student Advisement – 
Advises undecided students by interpreting placement test scores and assisting with course selection and choice of major.

Services To Students With Disabilities -
Coordinates accommodations for students with disabilities which provides access to all programs and services of the college. 

Counseling Services Workshops – 
Promotes and enhances a variety of life skills [i.e. conflict resolution, parenting, academic, personal safety, and others]

Outreach and Consultation
Works with faculty, staff, students and community members to assist in developing educational skills, providing assistive technologies, raising awareness and facilitating individual development.
