Complete assessments of your interests, skills and work values; compare results with matches from a database of over 2,000 real-world occupational biographies. Access the U.S. government’s “Occupational Outlook Handbook” and other respected on-line resources for up-to-date career information and trends. Begin by contacting Counseling & Career Services to receive free required “batch codes,” then simply direct your Internet browser to http://sc.kuder.com. SCOIS.NET (South Carolina Occupational Information System) Quick and easy on-line career assessment inventories available. Highlights of SCOIS include employment trends and earnings data specific to the state of South Carolina, plus scholarship search options and detailed financial aid information. Contact Counseling & Career Services to receive log-in instructions for SCOIS.NET. Other Resources Additional career assessment instruments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong Interest Inventory, and Holland’s Self-Directed Search, plus other print resources and Internet access are available through the Counseling & Career Services office.
