Clinical Massage Therapy
Clinical Massage Therapist - an exciting career that can take you into the world of health-care and beyond. Whether your interests lie in sports, medicine, chiropractic, neonatal, geriatrics or health spas, you will find your specialty skills in great demand. Offered day or night, this classroom and clinical program will prepare you to sit for the national certification exam and then to apply for licensure in South Carolina. Major curriculum: anatomy and physiology, clinical massage theory and practice; allied modalities; statutes and history of massage; business practice, ethics, pathology, and CPR. Program admission requirements: Minimum Asset/Compass scores of 40/80 on Reading, or 19 or above on ACT, or 920 or above on SAT; HSD or GED or a college degree, successful interview with program committee, ability to perform physical tasks, health and criminal background screens.
