The Pre-Health Care certificate program is designed for students seeking admission to Health Science programs but not meeting program admission criteria. Students work closely with academic advisors to select courses that will help confirm their career choices and strengthen their academic skills.
Students who complete this program must apply for Pre-Health Care certificate for graduation.
Successful completion of this certificate program (as outlined below) can be used for interview eligibility to other Health Science programs but the certificate does not guarantee admission into that program.
Obtain a 2.5 GPA in the certificate and a “C” or greater in each course. These courses may be repeated only one time to qualify under these entry criteria.
Admission requirements: admission to the college.
