The Pre-Health Care certificate program is designed for students seeking admission to Health Science programs but not meeting program admission criteria. Students work closely with academic advisors to select courses that will help confirm their career choices and strengthen their academic skills.
Students who complete this certificate should be well prepared for acceptance into the desired program, but the certificate does not guarantee admission into that program.
Successful completion of this certificate program (as outlined below) can be used for interview eligibility to other Health Science programs.
Students wishing to use successful completion of this certificate as part of their admission criteria to other Health Science programs must obtain a 2.5 GPA in the certificate and a "C" or greater in each course. Math and Science (including all Allied Health Science courses) may be repeated only one time to qualify under these entry criteria.
Admission requirements; admission to the college.
