Academic Policies and Requirements
With a counselor's approval, suspended students may be allowed to enroll in zero-level and identified 100-level courses during the suspension term. To continue enrollment the following term, students must satisfactorily complete at least 50 percent of zero-level courses, earn at least a 2.0 in the 100-level courses and petition for readmission through the Admission Office.
Students returning from suspension re-enter the college on a probationary status. They will regain good academic standing if their cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater at the end of their first term after readmission. If their cumulative GPA is below 2.0 but their current GPA is equal to or greater than 2.0, they will be allowed to continue on probation. If both the cumulative and current term GPA are below 2.0, the student will again be suspended.
