Job Placement Services

Job Placement Services are available to all students and alumni of Midlands Technical College. Employment opportunities in area businesses and industries are listed by major in the Job Placement Office.

The Job Placement staff provides assistance by critiquing resumes and teaching interviewing skills and job search techniques through seminars, workshops and individual instruction.

Other placement services provided include:

• On-campus recruiting
• MTC's "Dial a Job" service
• Career Day
• College Transfer Day
• Employment opportunities
• Library of books, magazines, videos and CD-ROMs
• Prospective employer information
• Computer-based employability and work maturity skills program.

This information can assist students in their efforts to define employment objectives, explore labor market trends and research an employer before submitting a resume or participating in an interview.
