Engineering Design Technology

The Engineering Design Technology program develops technicians for the areas of engineering such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), electronic controls, and the installation and maintenance of various equipment and products. Engineering Design Technology deals with all aspects of manufacturing, as well as the creation and use of mechanical power.

Career opportunities may be found in a variety of engineering and manufacturing firms working with mechanical engineers, architects and planners. Positions are available in instrumentation, process and product design, maintenance, technical sales, testing, and manufacturing.
