Electronics Engineering Technology

Electronics engineering technicians combine a practical hands-on approach with a theoretical approach toward repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and designing electronics equipment including computers, PLCs, electronic instruments and control devices. Graduates of this program may work in a manufacturing environment, a research facility, sales center or an educational institution.

This program is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

Special Requirements

Students are required to purchase a graphing calculator and a digital multimeter. By the fourth semester, students are required to purchase a small set of hand tools.

Graduation Requirements

In addition to college graduation requirements, a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in all AET, CET, EGR, EGT, MET and EET courses.
