ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The 18-hour Entrepreneurship Certificate Program at Midlands Technical College is a specialized program designed to provide advanced training in the day-to-day activities faced by small business people. The Program will guide you through the details of seeking funding, selecting the best legal form for the business, developing a business plan, understanding the various aspects of necessary computer support, the ins-and-outs of marketing your product or service, the realities of the impact of taxes and other compliance issues, the accounting principles so necessary to make money, and the arts of supervision and leadership. You will be afforded professional assistance throughout the Program and will have a well-rounded understanding of how to form, build and operate a successful business.
