Course Description:
ACC 150 Payroll Accounting:   

This course introduces the major tasks of payroll accounting, employment practices; federal, state and local governmental laws and regulations; internal controls; and various forms and records.  (Prerequisite: ACC 101, ACC 112 or Department Chair approval)

Course Outcomes and Competencies:
As part of the Business department’s commitment to teaching effectiveness and ongoing student learning outcomes assessments activities the following outcomes and competencies have been developed for ACC 150:

Intended Course Outcome #1: Students will demonstrate overall knowledge of the learning objectives for payroll accounting.
