Accreditation/Approval of Programs:
Midlands Technical College is accredited
by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the
Business Department's Accounting, Management and Marketing two-year
associate degree programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate
Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The ACBSP does not accredit
certificates. Paralegal program is approved by the American Bar
Association.
Advisement:
Students
are encouraged to establish a close relationship with a faculty advisor in
their major. After acceptance to the college, first-time students are
initially advised by the Advisement Center and referred to advisors in their
major field of study for further advisement. Click here for more information

Alternative Delivery of Courses:
The Business
and Public Service Department offers various courses via alternative delivery, including
distance learning. These include hybrids course and internet courses. These
courses are identified on the course schedule by the letter "Y" or "I"
preceding the section number.
Please Note: If you enroll in
a Distance Learning Course, it is YOUR responsibility to check out the
course orientation requirements. Failure to attend orientation or complete
orientation requirements will result in the student's withdraw from the
