ASSIST Program at Midlands Technical College

ASSIST Program

The Accessible Support Services and Instruction for Sustainable Transition to Work (ASSIST) program at Midlands Technical College (MTC) is designed to deliver relevant career training and education to eligible students, preparing them for high-wage, high-skill jobs in fields such as manufacturing, engineering or maintenance technology. ASSIST services are available at no charge to qualified students.

An important part of ASSIST is MTC’s Workforce Readiness Center (WRC). The WRC offers services that can help ASSIST candidates achieve long-term career success, including critical skills assessments, advice on identifying and applying for career opportunities, and helpful workshops. The WRC is available to ASSIST participants, as well as all enrolled MTC students, and has offices on the MTC Airport and Beltline campuses.
