|WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ‘WEB ENABLED’?
New students that are advised by the New Student Advisement Center staff (http://www.midlandstech.edu/advisement/alphareferral.html) are permitted to register online for their first semester of coursework and are, “web enabled.” After advisement students meet with Online Student Services staff (Airport Student Center room 222, Beltline Student Center room 227) where they can walk through the steps to register for courses using MyMTC. MyMTC provides students with the tools to register for courses appropriate to their major based on college placement test results and prior course work. After the first semester students must contact their academic department to determine their eligibility for continued online course registration.
