- PRE- NURSING CERTIFICATE
The Pre-Nursing Certificate must be completed with a 2.75 or higher GPA on these 8 courses, with no grade lower than a "C", with no more than one repeat per course, and with completion of the graduation clearance form in the final semester.
- Each course may be repeated only once to obtain a passing grade or a higher grade at any time in college course work.
- Admission to nursing programs is on a "first qualified, first accepted" basis. Applicants who complete the admission requirements to enter the college and the nursing program for which they are applying are admitted on a space available basis. Admission requirements vary with the specific nursing program. Being admitted to Practical Nursing and successfully completing the Diploma in Practical Nursing does not guarantee admission to upper level A.D.N. courses.
- BIO 210, 211 and 225 (if required) must be completed within five years of admission to the nursing program.
- COL 103 or ENG 102 may be substituted for COL 105.
