Hi, my name is Shayna and I would love to tell you a little bit about myself. I am just about to finish up my first year at Midlands Technical College, where I have accomplished so much. I started out wanting to go to a four-year college, but orientation scared me a lot, so I decided to attend MTC instead. I feel as though I made the right choice, considering MTC is a very good stepping stone when you are coming right out of high school. I am a full-time student and I work at a local after-school daycare during the year. I chose MTC because my mom is a professor in the Early Childhood Department and loves it there. I will be getting my Associate Degree at MTC and transferring to a four-year college. Some activities that I enjoy are fishing, swimming, reading, and having fun with my family. I have recently discovered that if I make school and work my first priorities, things will fall into place in my life.
