Being a Part and Being Heard! I involved in a program at MTC called SOAP, which is the "Student Online Advisory Panel". As part of this panel we are asked our opinions about different areas of programming for the students, such as the setup on how to log into MTC website. The college asks students, such as you, to see if there is a more efficient and easy way to access the MTC site. I thought that was so neat! Being a mom, wife and student means my time is limited for on-campus activities. This was a great opportunity for me to be a part of an organization without being stressed about making meetings. Also, the school cares what you think as a student! THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME AS A STUDENT!! I will end this excerpt with THINK ON THIS, if I can do it --- you can too!!!!! |
